Video Production

As a videographer and multimedia producer, Juan Haro, is specialized in filming short documentaries, and developing interactive multimedia projects and digital communication campaigns. During the last five years he has been producing, shooting and editing multimedia content on human rights and social issues in Latin America, Africa, the U.S., and Europe.

With a strong creative and digital background, he independently manages every step of the production, editing, and scripting process as well as develops new strategies to engage with the public on a multi-platform or social media environment.

Water is the most basic means of survival and must be a priority. Liliane is one of the thousands of Burundian children who is exposed daily to deadly diseases, largely due to the lack of access to safe water.

Malnutrition has always been a critical problem in Burundi, but since the outbreak of the socio-political crisis in 2015, rising food prices and a deteriorating economic situation has put additional pressure on the most vulnerable families.

Aimable: A street child’s experience in Burundi

For Aimable and his younger brother Timothée, every day of the past seven years has been a struggle to survive. The two boys have been living on the streets of Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, sleeping on boxes and hustling strangers for money to buy food.

The worst landslide registered in Guatemala in the last decade left 280 deaths, 70 disappearances and 472 people affected according to CONRED. NGO Mayan Families covered the aftermath of the destruction and visited the families of those concerned.

New Refugee Shelter Unveiled at UN Headquarters

On 20th June, World Refugee Day, the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, in partnership with the Ikea Foundation, unveiled a new prototype for refugee shelters at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Four years in the making, the UN hopes that shelters like these will help make daily life easier for the world's 51 million refugees.
